Projecting the Future: Riding the Wave of Change

Where is the world headed? That's the question swirling in my mind this morning. The opportunity lies in not just observing the future, but in anticipating it. When we craft content that resonates with its trajectory, we can help to shape it. As I told my friend yesterday the world we are currently living in was created by people who were no smarter than us and had way less information.

This journey is intertwined with fundamental human truths: our capacity for love, our potential for change, and our inherent ability to navigate both. It requires embracing the experiences that have led us here, even the messy ones, and letting go of rigid expectations of others in a world that is constantly in flux. It demands self-love and extending that same patience we offer the vast, unfolding universe to those around us.

The power of Artificial Intelligence is undeniable. The lines between the real and the AI-generated have blurred and become indiscriminate. This presents a double-edged sword: the potential to create and disseminate an unprecedented amount of content for good, but also the crucial need to discern truth from fiction. Or does it even matter if the information, regardless of its origin, holds truth? Perhaps our entire reality is already a construct, a figment of our collective consciousness and imaginations.

The time to build is now. To learn about diverse cultures and ways of life, to anticipate global shifts, and to recognize our own limitless potential for transformation. This evolving world calls for a new way of being, and video content feels like the key to unlocking its understanding. The strategy is clear: create now, trust in divine timing for scaling, learn from missteps, and adapt. Building products that foster connection, focusing on the positive, and loving the process of creating a new paradigm of existence are paramount. Trusting my gut, while staying attuned to the data, will be my compass.

My thoughts are even drifting towards the Middle East. It's a region brimming with wealth, yet grappling with certain social imbalances and a deeply ingrained faith. Herein lies a crucial insight: the human need to believe in something beyond the individual. This is a void I see in parts of North America, where an overemphasis on individualism seems to correlate with rising unhappiness, disease rates, and obesity. The West, by many metrics, is far from healthy.

A simple question echoes: Are you happy? Many in the West would struggle to answer affirmatively.

Happiness, for me, isn't the ultimate metric. I gauge my days by my inner peace. On a scale of 1 to 10, my average hovers around an 8. Sixes and nines are fairly balanced, a realization I've only just articulated. What will elevate those sixes to nines? Honestly, more financial freedom and a meaningful intimate relationship come to mind. And a strong feeling persists that leaving Canada will significantly boost my overall sense of inner peace. It's about aligning with what my soul truly desires, what resonates with my very being.

Can I reach a consistent nine in my current circumstances? With my birthday looming in just five days, the pressure is definitely mounting. This time of year always triggers a deep review of the past year. I feel more grounded, undoubtedly. Am I healthier? Physically, yes. Sixty consecutive days in the sauna and a 25-pound weight gain (a positive shift for my typically slender frame) speak to that. It's the first time in a decade I haven't had a visible six-pack, but I'm comfortable at 190. A stark contrast to the 155 I weighed after a challenging period in Mexico. The abs were certainly defined then, but the circumstances were far from ideal.

The focus now is crafting a plan for 37, a blueprint for what could be my best year yet. Consistent daily publishing, an increased output of video content, and embracing unfamiliar platforms are key components. This requires complete self-belief, a willingness to be all-in with myself and others, and a love for the game of creation and transformation. It means letting go of what has brought me to this point and building something sustainable.

One of the most significant shifts this year has been this newfound sense of groundedness. Perhaps it's the result of staying in one place for four months – a rarity since my time in Portugal. Constant travel and unfamiliar beds tend to unmoor me, leading to an overactive mind and a disconnect from my physical self.

The next few days will be dedicated to strategizing for year 37, laying the groundwork for a reality I actively create. This demands trust – in the process, in myself, and a willingness to bet big on my own potential. Patience is crucial, knowing that consistent daily action will pave the way for my best year yet. We have the power to reshape our inner landscape, to achieve peak physical condition, even if the rapid pace of my Ironman days feels like a distant memory.

What is your plan for the next 365 days?
